Lucha Libre is a Mexican wrestling tradition known for its high-flying acrobatics, masked luchadores, and exciting, over-the-top performances. It made its debut in Mexico during the Mexican Revolution in the early 1900s when residents needed a diversion to distract them from the political unrest that was enveloping in the country.
