El Castillo de Chapultepec is the architectural monument with the most history in our country. It has witnessed many of the most important moments in our history. It is the only royal castle in our continent and was the home of the Spanish viceroys and the Emperor Maximilian of Habsburg, as well as the Presidential House until 1940.
It houses a large collection of paintings, photographs, documents and objects that show us our history from before colonization to the present day.
